As a Senior Accountant, you will be at the forefront of their financial operations, utilizing your technical acumen to optimize processes and drive efficiencies within the accounting systems.

Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Hybrid - Reston, VA
Hourly Rate: $40.00 - $50.00/hour
Job Type: Contract (1-2 Months)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your technical expertise to enhance and maintain our accounting software and ERP systems, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.
  • Lead the implementation and management of advanced financial analytics tools, providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with IT and finance teams to design and implement automated financial processes, streamlining reporting and analysis procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest accounting technologies and trends, identifying opportunities to improve financial operations and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Perform complex financial data analysis, interpreting results, and presenting findings to key stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring adherence to accounting principles and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • Proven track record in accounting or finance, with a strong focus on integrating technology into financial operations.
  • Extensive experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau, enabling you to extract valuable insights from complex datasets.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement automated financial processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
