As a Grant Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining the financial aspects of our grant-funded programs. You will work closely with program managers, grantors, and the finance team to ensure compliance with grant requirements and accurate financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:
Manage the financial aspects of grant-funded programs, including budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
Review grant agreements and ensure compliance with grant terms and conditions.
Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial reports to grantors.
Collaborate with program managers to develop grant budgets and provide financial guidance.
Monitor grant expenditures and reconcile grant accounts regularly.
Maintain organized grant files, documentation, and records for audit purposes.
Work closely with the finance team to integrate grant financial data into overall financial reporting.
Assist in the preparation of grant proposals and budgets for new funding opportunities.
Stay updated on grant regulations and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant accounting or a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of grant regulations and compliance.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
