Cordia Resources is seeking a talented and motivated Accountant for our non-profit client. As an Accountant you will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including but not limited to financial reporting, grant management, reconciliations, and budgeting. Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Manage federal grants, including budgeting, tracking, and reporting.
Conduct reconciliations of financial accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Assist in the annual budgeting process and monitor budget vs. actual performance.
Collaborate with program managers and grantors to provide financial information and support.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Assist with audits and other financial reviews.
Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Experience with Abila MIP (or similar accounting software) is a plus.
Previous experience working in a non-profit organization is a plus.
Strong understanding of federal grant management and compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software.
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
