Cordia is partnered with a premier housing non-profit who is seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) professional to join on of their team for a temporary assignment of 2-3 months.

Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Duration: 2-3 months
Pay Rate: $20-25 per hour
Software Experience: MRI or Yardi experience is highly preferred
Target Start Date: Immediately

Responsibilities:

• Handle monthly invoices, about 50-100, ensuring they meet our company rules.
• Check invoices against purchase orders and receipts to confirm expenses.
• Verify invoices for proper approval and coding.
• Accurate data entry into our accounting system, focusing on MRI, or similar software.
• Sort out issues with vendors and colleagues.
• Help prepare AP reports and audits.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of AP experience.
• MRI software familiarity is a plus; experience with Yardi or similar R/E software is a bonus.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Can manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Some knowledge of accounting principles.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience.
