Position Overview: As an Accountant you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing the general ledger, and supporting the organization's mission through sound financial management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, strong general ledger experience, and familiarity with Intacct software.
Key Responsibilities: General Ledger Management:
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and generate accurate and timely financial statements.
Assist in the preparation of budget reports and variance analysis.
Provide financial information for grant reporting and compliance.
Accounting Software:
Utilize Intacct accounting software for efficient and effective financial management.
Previous experience with Intacct is a plus, but not required.
Audit Support:
Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
Strong experience in general ledger accounting.
Knowledge of non-profit accounting principles and regulations.
Familiarity with Intacct software is an advantage.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams.
