• Manage monthly AP close, accruals, AP trend analysis, P&L review, and balance sheet reconciliation process and ensures accuracy of financial statements
• Oversees cash flow forecasting for Accounts Payable
• Manage a team of 4-5 AP Staff
• Ensure the teams’ timely and accurate processing of 200+ invoices per week, and posting and coding of payables and expense reports for multiple lines of business as needed
• Manage continuous AP system and process improvement projects
• Manage vendor relationships
• Prepare and maintain policies and procedures manual and ensure policies are being followed
• Automate expense report and company card process
• Perform reconciliations of vendor statements to ensure accuracy of payables data
• Review new vendor set-up and 1099 status
• Oversee weekly payment runs (to include checks, ACH, and wire disbursements) for multiple entities
• Preparation, analysis, and reporting of daily and monthly activities
• Manage the company purchasing card program
• Review T&E expense reimbursements and manage annual Form 1099 reporting
• Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices

 
Role Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business
• 5+ years of high-volume AP/accounting experience, within a large company strongly preferred
• 2+ years in a supervisor capacity
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Knowledge of and proficiency in a large ERP system
• Superb ability to identify, analyze, and resolve accounting and system issues
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
