Washington, DCWe are seeking a dedicated General Ledger Accountant. The ideal candidate will have experience working with non-profit organizations, strong general ledger skills, and a focus on month-end close and reporting.

- Support the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements for non-profit organizations.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting roles, with a focus on month-end close and reporting.
- Experience working with non-profit organizations is preferred.
- Strong general ledger skills and proficiency in financial analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
