Cordia Resources is working with an exciting startup manufacturing company with a national footprint! 
They are searching for a Sr. Fixed Assets Accountant for their manufacturing facility. 

Candidate will be responsible for:

• Record the fixed asset acquisition, capitalization, and ongoing accounting process with opportunities to grow and expand responsibilities.
• Review fixed assets PO requests
• Partner with various business units including Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering and Project Management to efficiently monitor work-in process sub-ledgers
• Review the monthly processing and recognition of fixed assets additions/disposals in accounting system.
• Manage the assignment of fixed asset tags to new assets.
• Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger vs. general ledger and prepare fixed assets roll-forward for the manufacturing Operations.
• Perform various fixed assets analyses (depreciation schedules and reviews)
• Assist with periodic Fixed Asset physical inventory count.
• Provide audit (internal/external) support (i.e. pull relevant fixed assets support and address various inquiries).
• Work on special projects as needed.

Candidate should have the following experience:

• BS in Accounting or similar background
• 5+ years of experience in Fixed Assets accounting
• Recent (within the last 2 years) experience in a manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred
• CPA designation preferred, but not required
• Large ERP experience (Oracle, SAP, or Workday preferred)
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel - Experience working with large volumes of data.
• Highly effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to develop strong partnerships and influence people effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
