Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a $17M Not-For-Profit whose revenue comes in through federal grants. They are seeking a hands-on Interim Controller who has Costpoint experience to join their team on a contract basis with the potential for contract-to-hire. Details below!

Title: Interim Controller
Location: Hybrid - Silver Spring, MD
Is there remote work available: 1-2 days on-site to start, then can move to 1 day
Hourly Rate: $75.00 - $80.00/hour
Job Type: Contract / Contract to Hire

Responsibilities include: 
  • Preparation and execution of annual audit: CFR Part 200 – Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards including all audit and tax work papers.
  • Manage all Costpoint and Concur functions including P/R, A/P, A/R, G/L, and F/S.
  • Reconciliation of G/L accounts including bank reconciliations, federal receivables, and payables.
  • M,onthly closes. 
  • Completion of internal and governmental financial reports.
  • Supervision of staff responsible for A/P, A/R and P/R. 
  • Review and approve weekly A/P and P/R including pension and 401(k) payments.
  • Contract management and administrative oversight of multiple subcontractors.
  • Oversite of federal draw downs. 
  • Development of budget and administrative components for grant proposals. 
  • Update project directors and senior management on current financial job costs. 
  • Assist in overall office management and human resources. 
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with CFR Part 200 federal audits.
  • Knowledge of Concur Invoice and Expense processing helpful, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Excel. Independent problem solver.
  • Strong administrative skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
