Title: Senior Financial Reporting Analyst
Location: College Park, MD area, with initial in-office presence 3-4 days per week and flexibility for remote work
Salary: $90,000 - $100,000

Position Overview: Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join their high-performing Accounting and Finance team. This role offers an incredible opportunity for growth, learning, and exposure within a unique FP&A environment. Reporting directly to the Director of FP&A, you will play a critical role in our financial reporting processes, including monthly lender reporting, quarterly compliance reports, budget variance analysis, and audit preparation. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to engage in acquisition analysis and interact with our private equity partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage monthly lender reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly compliance reports (debt covenants).
  • Conduct budget variance analysis and provide insights to support financial decision-making.
  • Coordinate and manage audit report and schedule preparation.
  • Support acquisition analysis activities and interact with private equity firm representatives.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or finance roles.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Experience with lender reporting and audit preparation preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
