Cordia Resources has an engagement for a healthcare company in the Midwest that is searching for a candidate that is skilled with Health and Welfare Accounting and/or Auditing!
Client is behind on several Health and Welfare Audits, and needs pre-audit support in the following areas:
- Pulling information from past audits
- Collecting previous IBNRs and 5500s
- Talking with employees internally in HR, Benefits, and Accounting to collect required materials
- Dealing with third-party vendors to collect information
- Communicate with payors, providers, insurance companies, etc.
- Prepare financial reporting materials
- Respond to audit requests
- Other duties as assigned
Candidate should have the following experience:
- BS degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Health and Welfare Accounting or Audit specifically
- Healthcare industry experience is helpful but not required
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or Netsuite
- Strong Excel skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
