We are seeking Tax Technician's for project-based work for activities related to FDIC bank receivership for inclusion into our pre-award program. This is a remote job opportunity, but travel will be required.

Functional Responsibilities:
- Executing work assigned by the PM and Senior Tax Accounting Professionals.
- Preparing specialized forms and standard correspondence associated with each receivership appointment: e.g., IRS forms 56F, 2848, 8822 and requests for Agency Status.
- Preparing workpapers in support of tax compliance activities utilizing Excel.
- Ensuring physical file integrity by preparing detailed inventories and administering the Automated Records Management System (ARMS) application.
- Supporting federal, state and local tax and payroll/withholding audit Interface with payroll vendors.
- Updating Tax Section's internal compliance tracking system.
- Preparing payment vouchers for vendor invoices.
- Creating management reports and reporting tools as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Three (3) years of corporate tax accounting experience.
- Proficient with C and S Corp tax compliance, financial analysis and tax accounting concepts.
- Ability to research and respond to inquiries from taxing authorities, former financial institution employees, customers, and FDIC personnel.
