Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join a nonprofit organization. The Senior Accountant will oversee all financial operations, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintain the integrity of our financial systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in nonprofit accounting and proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains).

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and nonprofit regulations.
Develop, implement, and monitor the annual budget in collaboration with program and leadership teams.
Provide financial analysis and forecasts to support decision-making.
Utilize and manage the Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) software to process financial transactions and generate reports.
Ensure compliance with IRS, state, and federal nonprofit regulations.
Coordinate annual audits, prepare necessary documentation, and respond to auditor inquiries.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a nonprofit setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics GP or Intacct preferred.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of GAAP, fund accounting, and nonprofit financial management.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
