Cyber Program Director

The Cyber Program Director is the lead Director and Subject Matter Expert driving technical engagement with our US Government and technology partners. The Director drives operational outcomes for members in classified and unclassified spaces, with a particular emphasis on conveying actionable insights to members through partnerships with technology providers.

The Director will drive collaboration between our members and key technology partners to deliver unique intelligence that allows members to identify and mitigate cyber threats to their operations. The Director will deliver enhancements to our framework for exchanging data and insights with technology partners, including through the refinement of tools that enable members to query partners’ data holdings and engage in curated analytic discussions on specific cyber threats. The Director will build relationships with technology partners to drive new data collection and analysis that support members’ efforts to address existing and emerging cyber risks.

To be successful, the Director should bring Intelligence Community experience in computer network operations or computer network exploitation. Alternatively, a successful Director could leverage technical cyber expertise gained in the private sector, including in cyber defense, threat hunting, or cyber red teaming roles.

Responsibilities
  • Drive and orient collaborative programs with technology partners in the private sector to open new cyber intelligence channels for our members.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with members’ intelligence and cyber threat teams, US Government partners, and technology providers to deliver technical insights on threat actor operations and mitigation strategies.
  • Work with members, government partners, and technology providers to enhance data acquisition, analysis, and early warning capabilities on critical cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Convey the results of the technical discussions in written products and briefings to member intelligence and network defense teams and to technical and non-cyber experts in these organizations.
Skills
  • Deep expertise in evaluating the technical aspects of cyber threats and vulnerabilities and knowledge of the information required to mitigate operational risks and address ongoing or potential threat actor operations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a diverse team of security and technology professionals.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, writing skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, adept at anticipating needs, effectively multitasking, and managing priorities.
  • Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills, showing the utmost discretion in the management of confidential corporate information.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, related fields, or relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience performing computer network operations or computer network exploitation in the Intelligence Community or experience supporting network operations and defense in the private sector.
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting technical data on cyber threat actor operations, capabilities, and intentions.
  • A current TS-SCI clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship and a Background Check is required for this position.
