Job Summary:
We are seeking a strong, independent, and experienced Interim Controller to assist with end-of-year clean-up tasks, including completing outstanding balance sheet reconciliations and preparing accurate financial reports. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at navigating complex accounting challenges. The role requires immediate availability, with a potential start date as early as next week.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive end-of-year clean-up of financial records.
Complete outstanding balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports in alignment with organizational and compliance standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial data.
Assist in implementing improvements to financial processes and controls as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience at the Controller level or higher.
Strong expertise in financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliation.
Knowledge of Solomon accounting software is a plus, though not required.
Public accounting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
