Our client, and investment advisory firm is looking to add an intellectually curious and dynamic Operations Associate to their team. The Operations Associate is responsible for working with the Senior Operations Manager to further efficient operation of the firm and deliver extraordinary client service. This role works closely with management to support business strategy and firm-level projects that impact firm success, team performance and client experience. This position is 100% remote.       Salary: $60-80k

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the administrative side of the firm’s portfolio management & reporting software to ensure that client data is accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare performance reports for use in client meetings.
  • Support the Senior Operations Manager in various ad hoc projects across multiple business lines: compliance, marketing, retirement plan advisory, portfolio management, IT, etc.
  • Serve as a liaison between the client and the custodian (primarily Schwab). This includes managing the full cycle of operations including account openings/transfers, maintenance, and record of cash flows, setting up journals and account structures unique to each client requirement, and being a proactive line of support for the client.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize secure document exchange with clients, custodians, and third parties.
  • Responsible for proactive client communication and follow up.
  • Will be required to communicate closely with the trading department, the advisors, third-party accountants and attorneys, custodian representatives, software support, and compliance resources.
  • Will need to actively collaborate with the team to ensure client needs are being met.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of financial services experience preferred.
  • Advanced level computer skills; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
  • Ability to quickly learn new concepts, technologies, and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic coupled with a self-motivated, inquisitive mindset.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented with commitment to accuracy and can deliver high quality, error-free work.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills. Being an efficient multi-tasker is necessary.
  • Takes pride in quality of work and an energetic “do anything” attitude. You move fast and you don’t settle for the status quo, always on the hunt to improve.
