Our valued client – a local, renowned and visionary leader in hospitality – is expanding its finance team. The Senior Manager of Treasury will be a core part of the finance team. Viewed as a strategic leadership role that bridges traditional treasury operations with cutting-edge finance transformation, this individual will be responsible for oversight of the following: day-to-day treasury functions, directing cash management, managing liquidity and banking relationships, and leading transformation projects to enhance controls and financial systems and processes. This individual will manage 4-5 individuals and report to the firm’s Treasury Leader. He/she will also cross-collaborate and partner with the VP & Controller along with other stakeholders and executives. And… there is room to grow here for the right person!
Opportunity Scope
Manage daily treasury activities including cash management, payments, short-term borrowing, and capital planning.
Lead cash flow forecasting, debt servicing, and bank relationship management.
Provide financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, cost savings, business opportunities, and executive decision-making.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
Provide insight and recommendations through monthly financial forecasts and trend analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on audit, accounting, and process improvement projects.
Support and manage transition to Blackline and Workday projects
Support other treasury-related duties and “ad-hoc” project as needed
Experience/Education
BS/BA in Accounting or Finance (preferred)
Five (5) or more years of experience in finance, accounting, treasury (required)
Two-to-three (2-3) years of management training with a staff of at least 3-5 reports (required)
Proven treasury operations and cash management experience (required)
Demonstrate aptitude to help lead cross-functional projects and help manage change
Offer exceptional analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
Possess excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Advanced Excel skills are expected
Experience with ERP or treasury management systems is a plus (Kariba preferred)
