Job Title: Payroll Analyst

Location: Northern Virginia (N. VA)

Work Schedule: 4 days in office (8:30 AM - 6:00 PM)

Compensation: $80,000 - $87,000/year

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic team in Northern Virginia. This is a confidential position offering significant growth opportunities beyond traditional payroll responsibilities. We are looking for a professional who can start with payroll management and gradually take on new challenges such as equity accounting and general ledger (G/L) management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for approximately 500 employees across the US and Canada
• Utilize ADP for payroll processing
• Manage equity transactions using Fidelity Investments' equity platform
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams for general ledger tasks
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments
• Take initiative and demonstrate a strong work ethic

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting
• 3-4 years of corporate payroll experience, ideally
• Proficiency in ADP payroll systems
• Canadian payroll experience is highly preferred
• Experience in the SaaS or tech industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
• Strong soft skills and the ability to manage heavy transactions
