Great opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a rapidly growing SAAS/Technology firm based in Arlington, VA. As a Senior Accountant you will be involved with accounting procedures and processes, as well as assist with special projects pertaining to the accounting team, such as system implementations. The ideal candidate has a CPA, experience in corporate accounting, excellent attention to detail, and deep knowledge of US GAAP. This position will be hybrid 2-3 days in office and will have a salary up to $120k depending on experience

Responsibilities:

· Drive monthly close and other accounting processes

· Maintain financial records, reconciliations, and general ledgers for consistent bookkeeping and analysis

· Ensure overall financial compliance - prepare for audits based on our region(s) and industry

· Contribute to Finance initiatives and special projects

Qualifications/ Preferred Experience:

· Experience working for a Financial Services or Technology company

· 5+ years of professional accounting experience

· Operational accounting experience a plus

Education/Certifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or other related fields

· CPA license strongly preferred

· Excellent written and verbal communications

· Ability to handle information confidentially

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel

· Proven experience meeting regular deadlines
