Cordia Resources is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Expense Accountant with strong experience in Concur to support a nonprofit organization. This role will focus on managing and processing expense reports, Concur system management, credit card reconciliation, and bank reconciliation. The ideal candidate is proficient in financial processes, has excellent attention to detail, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and review employee expense reports in Concur, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage the Concur expense management system, including user support, system updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform monthly credit card reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are properly documented and accounted for.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support audit processes as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address expense-related queries and provide training on expense management best practices.
  • Assist in developing and improving financial processes related to expense reporting and reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial close activities as related to expenses and reconciliations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within a nonprofit environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Concur expense management system is required.
  • Experience with credit card and bank reconciliation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and abilities to work independently.
  • Familiarity with nonprofit financial practices and regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
