Join Our Team as an Industrial Security Representative (ISR) / Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO)!

Reporting to the Security Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping and advancing our security initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
What You’ll Do:
As our ideal candidate, you will provide comprehensive security support and fulfill CPSO and Facility Security Officer (FSO) responsibilities for both collateral and SCI programs. Your responsibilities will encompass all areas of security, including personnel, physical, and program security, along with policy guidance, research, inspection readiness, operational security (OpSec) requirements, and security training. You’ll engage with personnel at all levels and interact with customers to ensure compliance with essential security regulations, including NISPOM, DoD directives, and more.
Location: This position is based onsite in our client’s Arlington, VA office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Charge: Implement and manage the industrial security program, ensuring full compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Diverse Security Management: Oversee multiple facets of the security program, including Personnel Security (PERSEC), Operational Security (OPSEC), Physical Security, and Security Education & Training (SET).
- SCIF Oversight: Manage the physical security of a SCIF, including access control and alarm response, even outside normal business hours.
- Proactive Assessments: Conduct self-inspections and audits, assess security risks, and support customer security assessments to ensure compliance.
- Training & Guidance: Provide program security guidance and develop engaging security education and awareness training. Investigate security incidents as needed.
- Engaging Briefings: Create and lead various security briefings, including indoctrinations and travel briefings.
- Coordinate Classified Visits: Manage both incoming and outgoing classified visits.
- Additional Duties: Perform other professional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant security experience.
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and a current Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
- In-depth knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs, SEADs, and related regulations.
- Proficiency in government security databases such as NISS, DISS, and NBIS.
- Experience in developing security plans, briefings, and educational materials.
- Familiarity with personnel clearances and related documentation.
- Knowledge of Access Control and Intrusion Detection Systems.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in security for space-related portfolios within government or industry, including agencies like NRO, NGA, USSF, USAF, DIA, and DARPA.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to embrace a variety of tasks and expand beyond core responsibilities.
- Familiarity with government space architectures and networks.
