Cordia Resources is supporting a government contractor in a search for a Contract Administrator. As Contract Administrator you will play a pivotal role in the successful management of government contracts. The ideal candidate will have expertise in utilizing Costpoint software, a deep understanding of government contract administration, and a track record of ensuring contract compliance and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand contract requirements and objectives.
- Utilize Costpoint software to maintain accurate contract records, including financial data, deliverables, and key milestones.
- Prepare and review contract documents, ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Monitor contract performance and coordinate with project teams to address any issues or deviations.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of contract modifications and change orders.
- Support contract negotiations and vendor/subcontractor relationships.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on contract status and financial performance.
- Stay current with changes in government contract regulations and industry best practices.
- Assist in the development and improvement of contract administration processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract administration, with a focus on government contracts.
- Proficiency in Costpoint software.
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government contract administration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
