Accounting Manager-Non-profit

Cordia Resources is seeking an Accounting Manager who will oversee critical accounting functions, support financial operations, and ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting. This role plays a pivotal part in managing day-to-day accounting tasks, transitioning systems, and maintaining compliance with nonprofit financial standards.

Key Responsibilities:
           Journal Entries & Adjustments: Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
           Payroll Reconciliations: Review and reconcile payroll transactions to ensure alignment with financial records.
           Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR): Supervise and review AP/AR processes to ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
           Membership Support: Provide financial support for membership operations, including invoicing and tracking dues.
           Month-End Close: Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely preparation of financial statements and reconciliations.
           System Transition: Support the transition from Great Plains to Sage Intacct, ensuring a smooth implementation and integration.
           Compliance: Maintain adherence to nonprofit accounting standards and regulations, including accurate tracking of restricted funds.

Qualifications:
           Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
           5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization.
           Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and/or Sage Intacct (or other ERP systems).
           Strong knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles.
           Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
           Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
           Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
