Cordia Resources is looking for an experienced and motivated Staff/Senior Accountant. This role will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close, and journal entry preparation. Expertise with NetSuite is required to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead the month-end close process, including the preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and monitor the general ledger to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
• Assist in developing and improving accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate reporting and resolution of discrepancies.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including AP, AR, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in NetSuite is required.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
