We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with expertise in Costpoint. This role will be instrumental in supporting the company’s financial reporting processes, managing the month-end close, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and internal controls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting within a government contracting environment.

Key Responsibilities:
   •       Lead and support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
   •       Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
   •       Prepare, analyze, and review financial statements and reports for management and external stakeholders.
   •       Utilize Deltek Costpoint to manage accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
   •       Assist with audits, including preparation of documentation and coordination with external auditors.
   •       Oversee the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll processes to ensure they are compliant and efficient.
   •       Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
   •       Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost allocations and financial data reporting.
   •       Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
   •       Provide leadership and mentoring to junior accounting staff as needed.

Qualifications:
   •       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
   •       5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior accountant role.
   •       Expertise with Deltek Costpoint is required.
   •       Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
   •       Experience in government contracting and knowledge of FAR/DFARS is preferred.
   •       Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
   •       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
   •       Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
