Cutting-edge, exciting opportunity for someone with 4+ years from the clean energy/renewables space, or consulting/TAS/IB/PE.  Should be fluent and confident with deal process, management and strategy.  Will be right-hand to VP and manage 2-3 analysts.  

Local, growing clean energy firm is strengthening their Structured Finance/Deals team. The Manager (in-office) will assist in structuring and negotiating, and be primarily responsible for managing and executing, tax equity and debt financings. The Manager will manage day-to-day relationships with investors, lenders and third-party providers, establish cross-functional relationships with our development, engineering and construction teams, and oversee analysts to ensure new financings meet business needs and existing financings are successfully deployed. 

Opportunity Scope:

  • Manage and develop analysts for accuracy, timeliness and results
  • Manage all deliverables for ordinary course deployment to existing tax equity and debt funds.
  • Coordinate diligence for and manage day-to-day relationships with tax equity investors and lenders.
  • Assist with negotiation of and modelling for new tax equity and debt funds.
  • Build, maintain, and extend project finance and corporate financial models.
  • Support evaluation of strategic opportunities.
  • Additional duties assigned.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA in with a concentration in economics, finance, energy or a related field.
  • 4+ years in project finance at a financial institution lending or investing in, an advisor on transactions relating to, or a developer of, renewable energy projects.
  • Fluency in financial modelling and familiarity with tax equity and debt structures.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and financial modeling skills.

  • $140,000 - $165,000 base salary
  • Bonus target of 20-25% (potentially)
