Position: Cyber Program Director
Location: Arlington, VA – Hybrid 3 days per week
Compensation: From $200K plus bonus and full benefits (100% paid by company)

The Cyber Program Director will impact a leading cybersecurity Intelligence services firm in Northern VA, whose mission is to fortify our nation's pivotal financial infrastructure. This firm's strategic alliances with Fortune 100 corporations and pivotal government agencies underscore their profound influence in the industry. This collaboration aims to mitigate the likelihood and impact of significant disruptions by conducting system analysis, monitoring global threats, and enhancing resilience throughout our nation's financial industry.
 
The Program Director coordinates with government and industry partners in classified and unclassified forums to drive and inform a robust intelligence cycle on cyber threats and vulnerabilities, spanning from intelligence collection to analysis of the actors and the implications of their operations. This includes developing and maintaining new technical and non-technical sources of information on cyber issues relevant to the sector as well as delivering threat research and profile development, strategic and tactical warning and analysis, and briefings to members and government partners.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and tactical warning on cyber threats and vulnerabilities and the technical aspects of threat actor operations that are relevant to stakeholders and to the systemically relevant critical infrastructure identified in the Risk Register.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with internal and external members’ intelligence and cyber threat teams, US Government partners, and technology providers to drive collection on critical threat actors, leverage relevant intelligence data, and enable effective and timely collaboration on current and emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Work with team members, government partners, and technology providers to develop and exploit a unified data acquisition, analysis, and early warning capability on critical cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Engage in technical discussions with government and private sector cyber experts using the MITRE ATT&CK Framework, Cyber Kill Chain, Diamond Model of Intrusion Analysis, other relevant cyber network defense and intelligence frameworks. Draw from knowledge of network operations to engage in discussions on the technical implications of cyber attacks and vulnerabilities.
  • Convey the results of the technical discussions in written products and briefings in forms that are relevant to member  intelligence and network defense teams and to technical and non-cyber experts in these organizations.
 
Desired Qualifications:
  • Deep expertise in evaluating the technical aspects of cyber threats and vulnerabilities and knowledge of the information required to mitigate operational risks and address ongoing or potential threat actor operations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as strong collaborative skills and ability to work in a diverse team of security and technology professionals.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, written skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, adept at anticipating needs, effectively multitasking, and managing priorities.
  • Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills, showing the utmost discretion in the management of confidential corporate information.
 
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A current TS-SCI clearance.
